FEATURING THE MOSTRA TREASURER
One of the key members of the MoSTRA Board is the Treasurer who serves as Chair of the Ad-Hoc Financial Committee and member of the Ways and Means Committee. The overall goal of this two year office is to receive and disburse all funds, and for MoSTRA this involves keeping separate ledgers for receipts, disbursements and balance sheets. Our Treasurer is fully involved in most of the organization's activities - annual meeting, member dues, fundraising items and activities, awards, educational expenses and partial reimbursement of our new CTRs.
MoSTRA's Treasurer also is responsible for legal obligations such as annual audits, maintenance of tax exempt status, checking and savings accounts, an annual organization registration report to the state, quarterly reports to the Board and an annual report to the membership. It is clear that our Treasurer must exemplify the highest levels of responsibility and dedication.
